A New Geological Epoch? Wait, what?A Basic Explanation of the Anthropocene

So last summer I decided to take a virtual course on evolutions during the history of our planet, and learned about the Anthropocene. The Anthropocene is the proposed geological epoch that is going on RIGHT NOW because of the increasing influence humans are having on Earth's climate and environment. After doing some research, I found this cool infographic which explains this concept really well which I've pasted below. What do you all think? Are we really witnessing a geological epoch?
